Private consultants for “natural/gentle” c-section in London

Hi, I’m looking for recommendations of consultant obstetricians in London that are experienced in and open to natural/gentle c-sections, just in case I can’t have a natural birth (with my last pregnancy I narrowly avoided having to have an emergency c-section). I heard about someone good at UCLH but that’s difficult with our insurance. Ideally we would deliver at Kensington Wing, Lindo Wing, or Portland. My first preference is for a vaginal delivery, so also looking for someone who’s not biased in favour of surgery (just open to gentler version if c-section is really needed). Thanks!

A c-section is not a natural procedure. So the term "natural c-section is just utter bollocks.

As for "gently" letting the baby work it's way out of the incision, surely not. Especially if the c-section has been done as an emergency procedure. They won't then just open the mother up and then just leave things for the baby to do it's own thing.

I have read Adam Kay"s book "This is Going to Hurt". He tells it as it is.

Sorry, but it is bollocks.

Don't be too anti c-section. If you need one then you need one

I have had two vaginal births and one c-section. I preferred the c-section and think vaginal birth is overrated.

Thanks everyone for the ‘diverse’ views - I’m please to have created a stir :). Some good points about probably just having to get on with things in an emergency. I suppose I just want to try and set things up as best I can for an environment where they’re open to a wider perspective rather than just treat it like taking an appendix out. Based on my history and current circumstances it’s even possible they may end up recommending an elective c-section
