I'm 25 weeks pregnant and my baby isn't moving as much. She's still moving in a way that I can feel her occasionally, but not half as much as she has been the past few weeks...I was at the midwife on Wednesday (2 days ago) and she listened to heartbeat and it sounded fine..... should I be concerned??

If there was any concerns they would have monitored you or offered a scan etc. Wouldn’t worry about it. Maybe you have a anterior placenta cushioning movement or something ? Have a chat with the midwife if you’re concerned

I went for my glucose test on Wednesday and the clinic was literally covered with signs and posters saying that after 24 weeks, usually you will notice a regular pattern in baby's movements and that if your baby's movements change, are less frequent or stop you should contact your midwife immediately. Call your triage team and speak to them. its better to check than not

Sorry I didn't make myself properly clear, I was at midwife for a routine appointment, at that time baby was moving as regularly as normal, it's just since yesterday movement seems to have slowed down....didn't know if I should be worried as I've still felt some movement.... admittedly not as much as usual.

Hi, i've you're worried, get it checked. At least you will be reassured before the weekend :-). No-one will think less of you for checking and wanting reassurance.

If the movement has changed at all, contact the Maternity Triage Unit. It's better to be safe than sorry!!! Good luck.

I went to PAU 4 times with reduced movement from 20 weeks, each time it was fine and each time the midwives said I did the right thing coming in.
Movement is the number one way they can monitor your baby’s health, there is a very good chance all that’s happened is they’ve moved position and is perhaps kicking inwards rather than out so the feeling is muffled - but I’d get checked if I were you, for peace of mind

Get checked out I would just to be sure baby’s ok x

Definitely ring your midwife, you aren't bothering them, that's what they are there for OP. At the very least it will put your mind at rest. If your anything like me you will constantly worry if you don't get it checked out. I'm sure all will be well :)

Go to triage. With DD1 I had an anterior placenta and had to be checked a good few times. No one ever made me feel bad.

The midwives were fantastic, told me to come straight in for a listen, didn't make me feel like I was being silly at all. Everything was great!
