As above really - where do you feel babys hiccups? I'm going to a presentation scan next week as baby is most likely breech and has been for a while. Hoping they have maybe mistaken head for a bum but all kicks are very low down and hiccups are high up above my belly button.

How much does babys bum move about once head down?? - clutching at straws here haha as there a big lump at top of bump that does some serious rolling around.

Mine is definitely head down, I do feel a bump (the bum!) moving a lot above my belly button level. However hiccups are very low, closer to my pelvis than belly button.

I’ve no breech experience but I think there is still time for baby to turn. Spinning Babies website is supposed to be good x

I always felt hiccups right on the cervix, very low down. Sounds like your baby is still breech.

Booo I thought as much haha!
I've been doing the exercises on spinning babies last couple of weeks so no luck yet.
My DD was head down from really early on and I'm just trying to deal with the prospect of having a c section. Midwife didn't seem very confident baby would move now if I've been trying for last 2 weeks :(

A scan showed my baby was breech at 34+6. I felt hiccups all over the place! I had acupuncture, physio and saw a chiropractor who performed the Webster technique. I slept with a pillow between my knees and spent as much time as possible on all fours or with my bum in the air. I thought I felt the head under my ribs as there was a round lump. When I had a scan at 37 weeks the baby had turned and was head down - what I thought was the head was the bum. I think it is really hard to tell the position of the baby yourself.

Good luck

Mine is breech. All kicks are to bladder, cervix and placenta (which is low anterior). Towards my ribs I get bigger movements, more rolls and headbutts! I also feel hiccups at the top.

She's moved to a funny transverse today- feet still by my cervix but head and bum either side of my belly button and back arched under my ribs! Can't be comfortable.

My midwife was confident my baby was breach and sent me for a scan the next day, there was little movement that night and when I went in baby showed on the scan as head down! Midwife said at my next appointment that baby must have a very boney bottom! I have also felt hiccups all over and midwife used Doppler all over and could pick up heartbeat so don't think you can really tell yourself.
I haven't had to have it so don't know if this sounds a worse or better option, but they were telling me they'd offer a procedure for turning the baby in my tummy rather than go straight for c-section, so don't think a c-section is your only option if it's not what you want.
