I know this has been done to death but don't want to trawl through all the old posts. I know most things I'll need as having dc2, but for the life of me can't remember how many nappies and changes of clothes for baby I took before?

Last time I was in hospital for about 4 days after birth and I think dh had to bring extra stuff in.

What would u recommend?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I took a pack of size one nappies and three vests/sleep suits. I also packed another bag with extras of everything (clothes, vests, nappies, wipes, change mats, hats, cardis etc) at home that dh could choose from if I asked for more stuff. He would visit and take dirty stuff home to wash and bring clean things in for me and the baby so I didn't have to take too much in or have masses of stuff to lug home with us.

Good luck!

I had 6 of everything for baby 1st time and same as you in 4 days used it all and needed couple more changes for him.

My list this time:
Baby bag:
•6 baby gros (with built in scratch mitts)
•6 vests
•2 blankets
• 6 muslin cloths
•bibs
•Going home babygro
•knitted cardigan
• Nappy cream
•Water Wipes/Cotton wool
•15 newborn nappies
•Extra soft towel
•Dummy (didn't use last time but handy)

Plus extras in separate bag for DH to bring in. I prob should reduce the gros and vests to 4 but we'll see.

I only took 3 of everything, but ended needing DH to buy stuff as DS was tiny and everything is bought swamped him (newborn and 0-1month as I come from a family of larger than average babies!).
