Cossato?

I'm looking to hopefully get a pram in the January sales and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

I've tried a few in the shops and cossato seemed the lightest and easiest to manoeuver. I'm thinking about it getting it in and out the car etc, walking about with it and not having to push a heavy pram and a baby.

Open to suggestions but I don't like the bugaboo bee and silvercross are too heavy

I had a giggle for dc3 and dc4

Both babies outgrew carrycot by 5 months, seat unit isnt meant to be used until 6 or sitting unaided but i had to and they survives.

Also found by just over a year old they looked too big for the seat unit so switched to a buggy style pram

They are lovely prams though and the customer service is good

I now have a busy for my 2 year old, the huge basket and huge footmuff are great

Hey. We will be buying soon so just hopping on your thread to see what others have to say.
We have looked at the oyster 3 (just out) and the Cybex Balios S. both of which are light and manoeuvreable. I agree on silver cross. We are city dwellers with cobbles and narrow streets etc and something fairly lightweight is a key consideration. Will have a look at cosatto. We are leaning towards the Cybex. The suspension is great.

We have a Cosatto wow and find it really good. Easy to get in the car, folds down small really easily and baby (almost 3 months) seems to like it - though admittedly it’s all she has known! Our street is cobbled as though it doesn’t look as though it has tons of suspension it doesnt jostle baby around much. Like you said, really light and easy to steer too

We have the cosatto wow and really like it.

It handles well (a bit bumpy on some surfaces but sends DS to sleep!) and folds really easily.

We bought it because it was small enough to fit in my Mini :)

I have a Giggle 2. Great car seat, nice and light to push, easy to fold down, but the chassis needs a wheel pulling off to fit in the boot of a Peugeot 208. I really like it for the £444 we paid.

I've got a cosatto Giggle 2. Got it mainly because it is narrow, came with a car seat included plus the adaptors and a changing bag. At about 3 months my DD made it clear she doesn't like being flat on the move so I am now using a stroller. She actually would start wiggling right up to the top from about 6 weeks to see as much as the world as possible on the move. This isn't unusual as my friend also has a DC that didn't like lying flat from 8 weeks. My friend has a different travel system.

You can also find the Giggle 2 cheaper than £444 it depends on the pattern you can live with and it doesn't have to be sale time.

Love our cosatto. Definitely recommend

EssentialHummus · 27/12/2018 05:56

Giggle 2 here, DD (75 centile) is still happily in it at 16 months. It gets lots of compliments, easy to manoeuvre and the customer service is ace. With a toddler and stairs I’m now starting to find it a bit heavy, but that’s my only criticism.

snoopy18 · 27/12/2018 06:18

We also purchased the Cosatto Giggle - can’t comment on it yet as baby is not here yet 🥳

BucketLid · 27/12/2018 07:24

Cosatto Giggle 2 is fantastic and gorgeous. We love it (has lasted 2 kids really well). We still get compliments on it!

ifoundthebread · 27/12/2018 07:30

I have a giggle 2. Mainly bought as I hate dull colours, so I got the pixelette pattern on clearance - full travel system for £350. Son Is 91% centile and still fits the car seat, he did outgrow the bassinet around 3/4 months so had to use the seat unit lying down- didn't mind. If stood on its side it fits the boot of a Nissan juke and a micra, lying flat it fits a qashqai so I've have no issues with mine. Basket feels a bit awkward to access sometimes but fits alot more than I was expecting

Thank you all for your replied. Think you've made my mind up for cossato

We love, love, love our giggle 2, we are constantly getting compliments about the pattern (foxtale) and love how easy it is to manoeuvre, it’s nice and light and DD has no complaints. She is tiny though so anything would have plenty of space for her 😊
