37 weeks unstable lie

Hello, I was just looking for advise / previous experiences, I am 37+2 and baby is in all sorts of positions but has never been engaged, she is super active and seems to just like spinning around all the time 🙈 I have had a couple of scans but no one has told me what will happen next. I have read on previous posts people have been kept in hospital due to the risk of going into labour, but nothing has been mentioned, should I be booked in for a c-section? Or do I just wait? I live about 20min from the hospital so little worried if I go into labour and hubby is at work.
Thankyou 😃

If there isn't anything they are concerned about then you will be left till 12days over ur due date. You should be seeing ur midwife every week now or from 38weeks I am sure. X

Look out for early labour signs. Waters leaking (pinky water), shows (bloody mucus) cramping, pressure etc. Google early labour signs. X

I had unstable/transverse lie. I was admitted for to the antenatal ward at 38 weeks as a precaution and had a C-section at 38+6. Some consultants will admit at 37 weeks, mine was happy to wait another week which was handy as I was moving house!

Have you got a positioning scan or antenatal appointment planned?

There is a risk of cord prolapse if you were to go into labour and the baby is not in your pelvis. I was told that if there were any signs of labour starting or my waters going I was to go immediately to the delivery suite. If my waters went I was to travel there with my bum in the air.

I hope you get some kind of plan sorted soon.

I was also offered an ECV to try and turn her. If it had been successful I would have been induced straight away but I declined this option.

Ok that's great thanks for the advise, the doctors seem to be abit rubbish with letting me know what's going on and my midwife is away all over the Xmas period.
I shall look out for early labour signs and just wait 😴
