I'll be 10wks by then.

Acceptable as a one off indulgence or a silly risk?

I think it's reasonable to have a wee glass. The risk of a tiny one off amount is just so minute (even non existent?)

On a slightly unrelated note, why oh why do these threads always have people talking about avoiding seafood and Mr Whippy?! NHS advice (which is pretty conservative/risk averse) is that these are absolutely fine, and has been for some time.

Kind of agree @Girlwiththearabstrap even though I brought up seafood, but... there is evidence of seafood being full of crap, but like I said also benefits.

Don't have any alcohol before 12 weeks, that's when everything is developing

At my booking appointment, the midwife said "there's no real evidence that an occasional drink causes harm, but we just don't know for sure so it's not adviced. But really if you want a glass of prosecco at Christmas it isn't going to do any harm.

I didn't even ask about it.

(I had mentioned the all inclusive holiday I was on the week before I found out though...)
