Will a Phil n Teds Cocoon fit into a Out n About Nipper?

Just a quick question - I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Phil n Teds Cocoon will fit into a Nipper (or 2 of them into a Double Nipper to be precise!).

Am looking for something to act as a carrycot and like the look of the Cocoon - but unfortunately cannot use the Phil n Teds pushchairs as I am having twins.

Thanks in advance!

out and about nipper doesnt lie completrely flat. what about a phil and teds twin (side by side)

The Phil n Ted Twin is quite a bit heavier (5kg or so...). I did think the Nipper went completely flat though - interesting that it doesn't...

My double nipper goes very nearly flat and I used the twin traveller body supports with it as it was the best I could do without buying the mountain buggy with carrycot. I am very pleased with the pushchair.

Any questions ask away

My twins are 12 weeks today.

I have the out n about double nipper, I have had it four years and is still like new. Best pushchair i have had.

Ooogs - do you have any kind of carrycot that you use when you're out and about with them - at friends or family's houses, etc? That's why I thought the Cocoons might be good, as you can take them out of the pushchair and carry them around with you, if need be. I may be talking complete rubbish though so I'd be keen to hear how you're getting on.

I was thinking of a Powertwin with Rebel car seats (that are carriers too) but have been advised not to get them as babies should be flat, and not in car seats for more than 1.5 hours at a time.

I'm sure you can get some sort of newborn liner for the nipper. It is at a very slight angle.

I had the powertwin, loved it but I did overuse the car seats and I am fairly soon it caused my sons' flat heads. They have mostly rounded out now though.

I had a powertrack with matrix for ds1 which was great and did consider the jane twin two with 2 matrixs but it would be heavy and I did narrow it down to the nipper and the powertwin.

Nipper was lighter and they laid nearly flat and they both could lay down when older and wanted a sleep.

Powertwin - didn't like the fact on long walks both in car seats (or at least one) as front seat not suitable from birth. Then when older front seat only goes back a few inches.

These are just my ideas and opinions - peoples views will vary

When I walk to visit people the nipper fits through most doorways so they can stay in it if asleep. or if I take the car seats they can stay in them a while.

I take a blanket and put them on the floor, which I also do at home so they are used to it anyway.
