They won't induce you until you are overdue (how much depends on your trust) unless there are serious health complications for you/baby.

Is everything ok?

I’ve had more scans with this pregnancy than I did with my first, I’ve been in and at of hospital as well. I’m now feeling constantly drained and tired, but my iron levels are fine so I don’t know why am feeling like this? I got told that I could be induced before my due that

Sorry to hear that. The final stages of pregnancy are draining and exhausting anyway. Make sure you are taking lots of time to rest.

Again, it depends on if there are health complications for you/baby, you haven't mentioned these. But the longer your baby can be in utero, the better as their lungs are one of the last things to develop. If your baby is born prematurely, their lungs may not have time to develop fully.

I would guess that, even if they are willing to induce before your due date, they wouldn't do so before 37 weeks ("full term") without compelling medical reasons.

Cleojinx · 21/11/2018 14:45

Even with medical reasons they will wait as long as is possible, usually until at least 37 weeks. They will only induce before your due date if they have decided it is the best medical option.

Ry1994 · 21/11/2018 14:46

I’m having a few complications but would rather not say what... and I was told it wouldn’t be before 37weeks anyways which am aware of.

If they decide to induce before term due to any complications they'll discuss it with you during an appointment to ensure you're happy with what is happening.

If they decide it is better not to induce pre-term I don't think they'll do it much before your due date if you ask but talk to your midwife about it if you're concerned Smile
