What car do you drive?

Hello, I know this isn’t pregnant related as such, but my clutch on my car is going and due to loosing my baby last month at 16 weeks pregnant, i feel quite overwhelmed easily. Sob story aside..

What car do you have? We have a (tall) 4 year old and a 1 year old. So 2 car seats.
I think we’re going to try again but no idea when so unsure as to when I’m going to need a 3rd car seat and how old the little one will be.
However, with the clutch going we’ve decided to part ex it, so looking for a long term commitment car that will be able to take 3 car seats when needed and the stinking law changed recently so most threads I’ve found are outdated or cars listed are 2018 models which are pricey.
So looking for mid / low range /newish models that’s good for a growing family.
Practicality wins for me every time as the one putting the kids in and out all day, but hubbys a sucker for brands so he’ll want something stylish and I don’t want anything too flashy.
Thanks x

I've got a Volkswagen T-roc

Love it- it's big enough but not too big

S max is popular for 3 car seats. Don't get a quash quai.

Honda F-RV is probably too old for you, but is good size and very versatile. There are three seats in the front, and the middle one goes quite far back so it’s good for putting a baby into so the passenger can give it some attention. It’s pretty wide, so should be good for three in the back.

I don’t have one myself, but I’m lusting after one! I’m on the Honda Jazz, which is the mini version, and unlikely to be suitable for your needs!

Sorry for your loss. Not a surprise you're feeling fragile.

To get three child/baby-seats in you'll need a car with three individual seats rather than a contoured or 60/40 bench. This, IME, means you're looking at a 7-seater, ie an MPV or mini-MPV. If you're not bothered about using the third row, go for a mini-MPV. There are plenty of stylish options available that don't look like a blocky mum-bus. They generally have the added benefit of a massive, easily accessible boot for the ridiculous amount of stuff you end up lugging around.
