UK 3 hour glucose tolerance - test how do I "pass"?

Context:
The only risk Factor I have is being a bit overweight, I just touch the lowest threshold for doing the glucose tolerance test.
I have no other risk factors and there has never been any hint of gestational diabetes in any previous pregnancies eg urine tests etc
I genuinely don't think I have gestational diabetes (lack of symptoms etc). However I know that staff tend to air on the side of caution and if in doubt label ladies as having gestational diabetes.

What can I do to maximise the chances of "passing" the test and been told that I do not have to stational diabetes?? e.g. certain types of food to eat in the days leading up to the test etc or a.n.other??

Thanks for all the replies. I know it was a selfish and vain starting point of a thread (although for the record I'm not actually that big, I've been bigger in a previous pregnancy).

If I'm honest, I did start this thread looking for a way to "cheat" on the test, maybe some secret formula of what to eat etc in the 24 hours before the test.

However, the replies above have helped me refocus.

In this pregnancy; first trimester I was textbook re: diet and exercise.
Second trimester I lost my way a bit (very busy season with older children in school drop-offs, pick-ups, clubs and toddler naps etc). As a result, I found I wasn't eating proper meals and snacking on junk. No in my third trimester, I really want to get back on the "straight and narrow". So I think the best course of actions is adopting an alround healthier diet and increasing exercise again. This will give health benefits, regardless of it turns out if I have GD or not. It won't mask any GD, but make it less of an issue.

That sounds good. And means postnatally you'll feel in better shape for your even busier life!
