Currently 24 weeks and have realised that I am having a baby and I have no idea what to do when baby gets here. Does anyone have any recommendations for good pregnancy/birth/new baby books?

The gentle sleep book is great! Just really reassuring about what’s normal with sleep.

@bluebird3 I'm so with you. I'm 24 weeks too.
I have no advice but just following incase anyone else does!

Thanks chequeplease. I'll look into that one!

danny I think I've been slightly in denial and now it's hitting me there will be a little person at the end of this and I have to look after them. Confused

I am liking 'your baby skin to skin' by Rachel fitz-desorgher

I thought Lucy Atkins 'first time parent' was good

My best read was Clare Pollard’s ‘Incarnation’ (brutal beautiful honest poetry). I found a network of other mums way more valuable than baby books as the books made me anxious and fretty when my experience didn’t match. You’ll be fine!

Definitely What to Expect When You're Expecting (5th edition) by Heidi Murkoff.Takes you through every step and twinge of pregnancy and after birth.
