I have had 2 strong positive tests and my doctors appointment isn’t until 30th November when I will be 7 weeks.

I have had twinges in my lower stomach and occasional nausea- but I am a sickly person so this nasusea means nothing lol.

How can I put myself at ease until GP appt? I am fighting the urge to test EVERYDAY lol Grin

The Dr won’t retest anyway, they’ll take your word for it (the tests they use are no different to the ones you get at home).
Are you sure you need to see a GP? In my area and the two I was in for previous pregnancies you self refer to the midwife for a booking in appt at 9-10 weeks.
Congratulations!

What does feeling pregnant entail anyway? Until it is big and heavy and wriggly?

My GP wanted me to pee in a pot to test for infection, take my blood pressure and weigh me. I also booked midwife appointment through the surgery while I was there. I assume the stick he dipped in it while I was there confirmed pregnancy! But yeah, was not anything more impressive than I used at home.

I did feel pregnant, very much so, it was awful lol. Now feel a bit panicky every morning as no nausea, even though it washes over me in the evening instead! I'm dying to get my scan appointment through the post even though I know once I do it'll be waiting for it to come round that drives me mad instead lol

@unicycletheif
I was pretty sure before I took the test. Felt sick, was so tired I was coming home from work, having dinner and going straight to bed. I was also very spotty! Lots of people notice their boobs feel different or sore, but I can't say the same. Although my bra is feeling a bit tight which I didn't expect so early (I'm now 7 and a half weeks).

Symptoms don’t mean anything, it’s just as common to have none at all. But I know it’s difficult in the first few weeks when you can’t see or feel anything.

I’ve never had any symptoms in the first trimester in my 3 pregnancies other than being tired. With DC3 I didn’t realise I was pregnant until 12 weeks!

Ahh!! It is my first so I’m not 100% on policies and procedures- but I suppose I should be thankful I am not yet hugging the toilet Confused

I have done an online referral for my local midwife.. so guessing I just wait now!

Probably not! Unless he pulled out a separate pregnancy test. They do just take your word for it. He would have dipped for protein/white blood cells etc.

Ohh I'm definitely feeling! I'm 6 + 1 and feel as sick as a dog, although I haven't actually been sick.

The only thing to stop the queasiness is to eat, but I have no appetite what so ever.

I'm in bed at 8 every night, and don't get me started on my nipples! I could cut glass with them 😂

I probably sound like a miserable cow, I'm not honestly. I'm thrilled to be pregnant but am looking forward to getting to 12 weeks when I'm hoping to feel half human again x

Good luck to you all x

I was saying this to myself just last week, but now I've 6 weeks I'm also sick as a dog. Nauseas, tired, hungry, cranky. I took 10 tests that's how unpregnant I felt. Now feel way too pregnant.

You could also consider getting an early scan privately. We're having one at 7 weeks
