Sounds like a migraine hun.
Obviously there is such a thing called pre-eclampsia (which can cause visual disturbances and headaches) but I thought that was very rare at your gestation. It’s more common later on or after 20 weeks or so.
Go have your blood pressure checked at your local pharmacy.
But I’ve suffered with migraines all my life.
They vary slightly. I always get the visual disturbance but the headaches can last a few days on and off after wards depending how bad I’ve had it. And I often get a tingly nose of the tip when I get one too.
Pregnancy can cause you to get migraines even if you’ve never had one before. It’s all the changes your body is going through x

Thankyou I think they will do my blood pressure today and I thought it was to early for pre eclampsia to I have been off work with headaches as it hurts to even be in the light

Yeh unfortunately sensitivity to light is another common complaint with migraines. Are you waking a lot in the night at the moment. I always find that broken sleep sets off my migraines x

I had optical migraines during each of my 3 pregnancies, when I saw flashing zigzag lights for about 20 minutes and then they would disappear. My optitian said they are often connected to hormones. I'm sure this is right as I had them again during my menopause. I found it helped to just sit quietly with my eyes shut while they were happening.
