Twin abortion: can one survive?

Hi, i do have another thread called "i hope my abortion fails", but this is keeping me distracted so i thought i'd start another thread and get opinions on this!
So found out i was originally meant to be pregnant with triplets, but one didnt form.so is currently just a floating cell in my womb, and i have two identical twins (6 weeks). Long story short: i panicked when i found out and aborted and then immedietaly regretted it. So next saturday i take a pregnancy test to find out if it worked (hopefully it was a failed medical abortion - althoughi know its rare).

Anyways - i had minimal cramps after the abortion, i have a kidney infection so have back pain anyway and my biggest pain was in my back but was gone after a number 2 in the toilet (sorry), i had the abortion on saturday, and i've bled all day sunday and today. About 1-2 clots per day and some tissue in the toilet. But I dont think i've passed the sac (apparently it's obvious when you do?). Like i said, i had 5 minuites of pain and even that was bearable. I havent had to use painkillers. Whereas my mkdwife told me i'd be in really really really bad pain.

Anyways: do you think it's possible for at least one twin to survive an abortion?

I think you need to accept that you took the decision to abort and went through it. I think it's highly unlikely any have survived. I'm not judging as I have also terminated a pregnancy.

I think you are grieving, I never felt anything pass during mine, and had no cramps or pain. Maybe some counselling will help you come to terms with it.

Your pregnancy test may test positive for up to 6 wks after termination, as the HCG levels take time to get out of your system.

It is not always obvious , and it is not necessarily painful.

Sometimes just lots of blood, clots, back ache and some cramping.

I dont think these threads will help you - i think acceptance of the choice you made at the made at the time , will help you.

I think you may need to access some counselling after this. The fact that you haven't seen a sac doesn't mean the abortion hasn't occurred.

Focus on the reasons for your decision at the time and please be kind to yourself. Reach out for help at the clinic if you can. You need to deal with the grief you are feeling for the loss of your pregnancy.
