HI!

Congratulations!!

My MS started when I was on holiday in Greece - not ideal!! I'm lucky enough to not have been sick, I just feel incredibly close to it sometimes.

When I was away, pitta bread and humus was my savior! I also kept ginger biscuits beside my bed!

Best of luck xx

I second hummus, I’m eating loads!! Pitta bread so much better than bread as causes less bloating too which I am struggling with having eaten what I normally eat in a day before midday! Also vitamin B6, along with some protein - a spoonful of peanut butter, chicken breast, cream cheese triangles... I have been eating a lot of cheese sauce based meals too and find they help, Mac & cheese, cauliflower cheese, broccoli cheese. At work I have been nibbling on unsalted peanuts and babybels x

I really feel for you mine started at 6 weeks two and no matter where I was (work or home) my head was in the loo.

I tried to go with what I fancied eating I’m not sure it was cravings and if it was I can’t say for definite it was this early. But I couldn’t get enough of egg fried rice, any potato related, cheese strings or triangles and fruit (although that made me sick eventually) my absolute life saver during his time was ice lollies! The nausea completely vanished and I was keeping some kind of liquid down! I would recommend any ‘mint’ too ginger didn’t agree with me despite loving it normally! Polos, chewing gum and peppermint tea are good (plus a bonus for breathe if you are sick)

I’d try them sea bands too although they can become uncomfortable. I hope your sickness doesn’t get worse but mine unfortunately did and I’m still on sickness tablets now (my MS has improved but not enough to fully come off these) I managed to loose 10 pounds in 4 weeks - so I really hope your MS improves, also congrats on your pregnancy! Smile

Glad to hear you’ve managed to keep something down, when I was going through this it really felt like it such an achievement to keep something down! It’s just a shame it tends to be the boring plain foods - toast, dry crackers etc.

I know you’d think cheese would be a no!! I’ve also read on here women recommending egg mayo sandwiches - I don’t like them anyway so it’s a no from me! But if you like them it could be worth a thought too

I make a batch of banana pancake batter in the evening enough for a couple of days and first thing I do when i wake up is fry up a pancake and force it down and it usually works, the only days I have been sick are the days when I've been to late making breakfast.. or when my OH has left something disgusting on the kitchen side like leftover curry lol..
