Did it work? Please tell me it worked...

Not tried it, but have you tried sea bands? I’m wearing them from when I first wake at 5am until I’m preparing to go to sleep. Except yesterday. I kept them on overnight and woke up feeling fine yesterday morning. (I took them off after a couple of hours to give my hands some blood, and within 5 minutes the nausea started to return, so they definitely seem to be doing something!)

I must confess that I am also using the Nevasic app. It’s a weird music thing which settles the inner ear, or whatever. The first few days I had it, I listened to it a lot. Now my nausea is almost under control for large periods of time, I listen to it once or twice before I go to sleep (sometimes nod off while listening to it), and as many times as I need to in the morning, once I’ve replaced my anti-nausea bands. It takes 27 minutes, and I listened to it 4 times this morning before I felt well enough to stop - also had to eat breakfast during that time because my body demanded it.

I think that both things are helping me. But it is clear that things get worse when I take the bands off, so I recommend them as a dampener. (And I mentioned the app not necessarily to recommend it, but to let you know that it’s probably not just the bands which are helping me!)

Sorry I couldn’t answer your actual question. I look forward to hearing from people who can!

Thanks @spargle, that's a good tip re the app, I'll try it. Glad you've found something that works for you.

I used to wear sea bands as a kid for travel sickness and found them totally useless. Just the thought of them makes me feel sick because of the association. I'm borrowing some from a friend later today but not holding out high hopes. COME ON ACUPUNCTURE! I'll report back on how it goes, first session at 4pm.

I've had one session and I felt ok for a few hours afterwards, but I've felt too sick to go back for anymore and the thought of being covered in needles and needing to throw up is not fun!

Acupuncture was the ONLY thing that stopped me vomiting.

Nope but I used sea bands from boots as as soon as I found out I was pregnant and although I was constantly nauseous in the first trimester I think it helped me not vomit. But it’s my first pregnancy so i don’t know for sure. I’m a fan of acupuncture and natural methods for things so do believe it works from previous exp with other areas.
