Are Phil and Ted's the best double buggy option?

I will have just under 2 years between mine when the new baby is born in December, is this the best double buggy (it's the only one I ever seem to hea about!) or are there other options worth considering?

jane powertwin is also v good but it doesn't fold up that small to go in the boot.

There are lots of good 3 wheeler side by sides too if you don't mind having a wider pushchair.

3 wheelers are the easiest to push hence the popularity! HTH

You are always going to have pro's and cons with any buggy.

Positive thing about Phil + Ted's is that it really is no bigger than a single buggy.

Negative is that compared to other buggys there is not much flexibility re: reclining seats when you have it in 2 children over 6 months set up. I find that DD, having been used to being fully reclined to go to sleep in new baby set up doesn't really sleep much now I have switched them around.

However, this may not be a problem for you, and it is certainly useful to be able to get it in and out of shops.

An advantage of a Phil and Ted's that I hadn't anticipated is that you can carry loads of stuff in the extra seat if you only need to push one child. I have carried DD's carseat in the buggy which was quite useful.

latest p&t now has a recline mode on the 2nd seat which is a good improvement.
