I've looked online and everyone says ms should have calmed by now, and mine has mostly but I did a late shift last night and I woke up feeling like I'd had a super heavy night drinking I feel so rubbish again..

Anyone else get this?
I have to work again tonight and I really don't have the energy to even leave the house

Oh gosh me!! For about 3 months till about 16 weeks- always hungover feeling without any of the actual fun of drinking! lol! Was so annoying xx

Kylieemilyj · 28/10/2018 14:14

@WoWsers16 so glad it's not just me then! How did you get through it?
I just want to sleep all the time 😂 I really don't understand how people cope with more than one kid😂

Lol I have 2 children (and a husband who is the third child lol) I just slept- on the sofa as often didn’t have energy to crawl to bed. It was like someone had just drained every ounce of energy from me. Just sleep and rest when you can x it will get better hopefully! X

That's exactly like me but it's just me and my bf at the moment and he's like a child honestly. How hard is it to just put your plate in the kitchen when your done with it? I spent the first month on the sofa too😂 luckily he did too but it just got too much and now I feel a lot better usually sleeping in our own bed. @WoWsers16 it's absolutely crazy that people do this with lots of small people relying on them

That feeling didn't ease until about 20 weeks for me unfortunately

Singlemummyto5 · 28/10/2018 16:57

I'm 17 weeks and still being sick unfortunately, mine is mostly triggered by being hungry or tired. Although being outside seems to do it a lot, I didn't even manage a ten min walk today without being sick lol and I have 4 'small people' to care for haha no rest for the wicked!

GirlCroosh · 28/10/2018 17:16

It did start to ease around 12 weeks for me last time. But I still had to be careful to eat little and often and rest. My worst vomiting episodes were once it started easing and I thought I was back to normal so stopped managing it as well.

Whattodowiththewaffy · 28/10/2018 17:57

Omg yes! I had this. It eased off at about 13/14 weeks but I still get the odd day feeling hungover and I’m 25 weeks

OutPinked · 28/10/2018 19:33

A bad hangover is the best way to describe the first trimester (and some of the second if you’re unlucky). I felt that way until I was 18-19 weeks this time around. Just run down, nauseous all day, drained beyond all measures and often had a bad headache. It was a rough few months but I made it out Grin.

RoboticSealpup · 29/10/2018 11:09

I'm in my 12th week too and I feel worse than ever. All food and drink, including water amend and tastes disguising. It's really getting me down.

RoboticSealpup · 29/10/2018 11:09

*smells and tastes disgusting

Merrz · 29/10/2018 15:41

This is exactly how i described it to everyone, felt like i had a 3 month hangover! I didn't feel better until around week 18. Absolutely shattered, had no energy to do anything and was being sick 3-4 times/day, couldn't eat much, everything tasted weird, it was horrible and so frustrating when you want to be getting excited about being pregnant but i just felt like i had no energy to even care. It does pass and you forget about it though!
If you are working shifts OP i think that probably doesn't help, i'm 28 weeks now and feel fine as long's i get a decent sleep and stick to my normal sleep pattern. Late nights totally fuck me (excuse the language) I feel rubbish for a few days after.
