Ladies I feel like such a horrible housewife. To be exact I'm stay at home mum (21month old) but obviously cooking and cleaning is mostly up to me. I'm in very early stages of pregnancy But I feel so exhausted. I would just nap all day if I could. Plus the house is a mess which makes me feel horrible like I'm not doing my job. I've got horrible neusea and morning sickness and everytime I even look at dirty dishes i need to make a run to the bathroom so quite a few have been lying around since yesterday. I try to do them through the day in really small bits. We're having take away second night in a row coz I can't bring myself to cook plus got awful headache and paracetamol isn't touching it. Any tips on getting through those first few weeks?

Your dp needs to step up and help. I couldn’t face washing up for weeks as the smell of the washing up liquid made me heave, and I really struggled to cook. He bought me really simple things to pop in the oven for the dcs dinner, and then cooked whatever I fancied when he got home. Tbh I lived off ham sandwiches for about a month and at 18 weeks my appetite still isn’t great. I know you feel it’s your job, but early pregnancy is brutal and I’m so so glad Dh let me go to bed at the weekends, there were weekends when I was so sick I could barely move. Try and take it as easy as you can, you will eventually start to feel better, even if it feels like a lifetime away at the moment x

Completely empathise with you! I'm currently 16 weeks with my second pregnancy. And I remember literally feeling like death the first trimester. It's so much harder with a toddler as well. My dd is 19 months and never stops so it was like an endurance test. Just be really kind to yourself. If your lo still naps then make sure to have a lie down when they do. Also don't be ashamed do use the tv as a distraction. I made sure Peppa pig was always in the background. And easy meals are a saving grace! I just made sure I had plenty of fruit and veg for dd and me and oh had whatever I fancied. Just do whatever you can do to get by. My ms cleared up about 13 weeks and it's been much easier since then, so it does get better trust me! Hang in there. X

Thank you ladies for your support
My OH woke up earlier today and did the dishes before he went work (he was doing all day shifts past few days so after coming home he'd eat and go bed).
I never had it that bad with my first one, I had almost non existent neusea for 2 weeks only with my first one and that's it so this all is new.
On our next food shop ill just make sure to buy some very quick and minimal effort things to make as well as some freezer food as a back up.
My toddler never stops either and he's not interested in tv at all haha. He naps but only for an hour so by the time i start falling asleep for a nap (I struggle to sleep during the day even when I'm proper tired) he's usually up again.
Monday we're going to in-laws for few days so will be a nice little break for me from cooking or having to do any house work plus should have a chance for some naps then
