What to wash baby clothes in?

Morning all!!

So thinking ahead to getting prepped for baby (11.5 weeks to go!!) and wondering what people wash baby's things in? Husband has very sensitive skin so we need to be careful what we use for him. Not sure if we should start with sensitive stuff for our baby in case he takes after his daddy or that's just setting him up to skin problems later because he wasn't exposed earlier in life? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks everyone xx

I use Fairy gel and baby fabric softener (comfort, dairy, aldi whatever I manage to get). They're non-bio and sensitive.

A lot of people use the same detergent and softener as they do for their own clothes. My DS has mild eczema so we like to use more sensitive products

As above I have used Fairy non bio and fairy/comfort pure and still do 6 years later for all our clothes as DH has psoriasis and it will suit for DC2 coming along.

I would use what you use for DH and yourself, no need to complicate things.

I have sensitive skin so use non bio washing liquid - usually just aldi or lidl’s own as that’s where I shop and fabric conditioner again is aldi or Lidl’s own brand version of comfort pure.
Baby’s stuff has been washed with the same as mine. I won’t use bio just because I know it’s too harsh for my skin so wouldn’t want to use it on anything for the baby

I always used fairy liquid and their fabric softener or comfort fabric softber
