A week over due and I'm bored and f**k! Has anyone got any ideas what I can do? I'm bored of cleaning, sitting on sofa, watching TV. I don't drive so I'm pretty restricted to what I can do and worried about going out if my waters break on my own

when i go on maternity leave in a few weeks i have some grand plans to do stuff i never ever get round to normally like going through all my pictures on my phone/facebook and getting a load printed off to either stick in albums on in frames etc. I want to do this before my first baby comes as i imagine the only thing i take pictures of then is the baby!

I also want to make some kind of memory box to show the baby when she is older of all the stuff we did when i was pregnant with her as some proof that her mum and dad were young once..!

or if you arent too restricted and tired do a big clear out of some cupboards or something?! or wash and hang up any new baby clothes etc you have?

I feel for you - i can imagine it does get quite boring after a while! congratulations and enjoy your new baby :) xxx

I went off at 22 weeks as I felt so ill and I knew I wasn’t going back to my job so I just left.
Now I’m at 27 weeks I’m not panicking but feeling now is the time to get hospital bag thoughts in my head etc.
I am going a bit mad tho hahahaha

@markygirl1995 haha i'd definintely do similar if i was over due, i am the least patient person ever! So exciting for you - good luck with everything! xx

Batch cook? Was very helpful in the early weeks. I also stocked the freezer with frozen pizzas, easy to cook stuff etc.

I made a lot of these cookies - the recipe is easy and quick. I have added different chocolate (choc orange bits/mint) and nuts. They freeze well and easy to reheat. Was nice to have tasty stuff for visitors coming over. (www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2459643/vintage-chocolate-chip-cookies)

Enjoy it! You soon won't get much chance to just chill out and do whatever the hell you want (I'm assuming you don't have small children already, apologies if that's incorrect). Do you know anyone who can come and see you, or take you out somewhere nice for a coffee? Not driving must make it more difficult, can definitely appreciate that.

In fact would you like a toddler to watch for a few hours so I can put my feed up? Grin

Following with interest! I worked until 38 weeks and am now on day 3 of leave. So far I have already cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom, made a big batch of vegetable soup, been out for lunch (twice) and listened to lots of radio 4 documentaries and watched some Netflix. This morning I went swimming and this afternoon I'm batch-cooking lasagne.

Am actually missing work and hope baby girl comes soon!

Welcome all ideas!
