All Terrain Pram? Help!

I'm totally baffled on which pram to go for Confused I live on a farm and also do a lot of off road (mainly through forest paths) dog walking. I've been recommended to go for a 3 wheel pushchair for this reason. Think i've narrowed it down to Jane Trider, iCandy Peach all Terrain or Maxi cosi Nova 3. Anyone had or got any of these or got any recommendations? None of the shops near me stock any of these so i can't go and try any out Sad

I came on here to say Out 'n' About nipper, but see you have already decided. Live rurally, walking dogs on trails, tracks etc, got one for our first dc in 2014, still doing great now on dc3, we also have the double for very long walks and days out. It is brilliant, have off road tyres on one as they are less prone to puncture with thorns, or slime your wheels or carry that puncture repair foam. Good Luck.

Another one who had a double and single out and about nipper. Single is still going 6 years later, double was left to get damp in a shed otherwise it would be ok too!
Fab prams 👍🏻

I would get the Nipper.

Baby jogger city mini get with bassinet for first few months. It's fantastic.

Mountain buggy urban terrain is great for dog walking and goes on most surfaces very easily. We don’t regret buying it.

I love my Nipper. I’ve had it 5 years now without a gap and it’s still on the same tyres and inner tube. It’s hardcore.

Also, you can be smug on the beach when you load it with stuff higher than your head and can still push it forwards on the sand rather than dragging like all the other losers.

Thanks everyone. Did you all use the Nipper from newborn? Is so did you buy a seperate carrycot for it?

Not sure if you've got your heart set on a brand new one, but for mountain buggy (and I assume for out and about too) there is a Facebook buy/sell page. You can end up paying a fraction of the price on there, which might be worth a look. They also have all the accessories or will know what fits what, which I found useful.

I live on a farm and have a Mountain Buggy, but out and about looks good too.

Mountain Buggy here too, live rurally lots of off road walks. Ours has outlasted my sisters out n about nipper which has had quite a few issues.

papayya · 23/10/2018 13:03

@Merrz I have a double out n about Nipper for a newborn and 17m old - had to order a carrycot separate for my newborn

WhirlingTurkey · 24/10/2018 12:25

You need a carrycot really, for a newborn ideally (although if you're getting a totally lie flat car seat then that would do the trick). I think the seat on the Nipper does lie totally flat, so technically safe for a newborn, but they'd be world facing and quite low down, which I personally wouldn't be keen on.

Mountain Buggy and Out N About do have dedicated selling groups and they're fab. That's where I got my MB double from, which was a bloody bargain!

Merrz · 24/10/2018 16:52

Yeah i'm not sure if i like the idea of the nipper seat bit from totally newborn, would maybe be ok from a couple of months. I've ordered the car seat so think i'll wait and see what it's like in the lie flat position and then maybe get a carrycot.

I'm actually not too fussed about brand new but my mum and dad are insistent on buying the pram and they want to get us a new one.
