Help me please Confused I suffer with hyperemesis and therefore when I'm dehydrated/not eating my pooping habits kind of stop and are forgotten about! However I'm now feeling a bit better sickness wise and it has been four and a half weeks since I passed anything! I spoke to the hospital when I was in and they gave me lactulose which I took with no results, went to GP who gave me laxido, took 8 sachets day 1 and 2 (today) but still nothing. I'm in so much pain! Anyone any suggestions please? TMI but I can feel a mass of poop right there but I cannot get it to pass and I don't know how it ever will pass!

Kitchen cupboard stuff works far better then anything the chemist. has boiled water works wonders and also in the morning a tablespoon of olive oil.

Depositories worked wonders in the hospital I used to work at in the elderly ward.
They were the second to last resort but did the job, if not, an enema kit... The sachets of stuff and drinks did naff all unless they were overused for a long period of time.
Sounds lovely I know but if it all gets backed up it's going to cause much more trouble than belly ache good luck

I had hyperemesis.
Glycerine suppositories were the only thing that worked.
Get someone else to buy them for you. Nobody will sell anything to anyone pregnant.
Use 2 at a time and hold them in for as long as possible. 15 to 20 minutes if you can. Lie down on your bed with a hot water bottle on your tummy.
Privacy and plenty of time is essential. You may need to use regularly until the vomiting eases.

I usually recommend prunes, porridge and movicol but all are useless if you have hyperemesis.
Try to drink water if you can keep it down.
