I am a doctor, currently 31 weeks and have had whooping cough and flu jabs. No problems with either, other than a slightly sore arm.

My friend’s nephew ended up in NICU seriously ill at 6 weeks old with whooping cough, his mother didn’t have the jab.

No issues at all. Minor pain in arm for 48 hours.

Thank you ladies!

I'm 100% on board with all vaccines, so I was never looking for reasons for or against it.. I'm booked to get it!

I'm just after people's experiences with the jab - just so I know if I should take a paracetamol or avoid using arm.. or as iv deduced, getting in the opposite arm to which I sleep.

@NameChange0000 - I'm very sorry about your friends baby, perhaps you could speak to your doctor with regards your concerns to ease you mind able your perceived connection. Xx

Had flu at the same time. My flu jab arm hurt, my whooping cough didn't. Nothing notable.

I don't understand people that do not vaccinate but that is not the point of this thread. You cannot argue with stupid I guess.

I had the flu jab and the whooping cough jab on different days/weeks. I had no ill effects.
