Just wondering how mums go about doing this discreetly?
I know you can buy nursing clothes and I intend to buy a few tops, but other than that do you improvise with a scarf or nursing scarf? Or Muslin?

I promise you, no one will take much notice apart from post menopausal women like me who will give you a secret smile, and send you positive encouraging vibes, whilst being transported back to the days of being a parent when you always had to hand the power to comfort, nourish and reassure your child.
But for information, I lifted up a top, and draped some sort of scarf or muslin over the baby’s head to stop the little nosey Parker unlatching and having a good look around.

I used to just pop a muslin over my and DS and when he settled into the feed I'd uncover his head as he didn't like being covered up! Top tip is to tuck the corner of the muslin under your bra strap on your shoulder so if they decide to have a wiggle it doesn't fall down! Practice a few times before you try it in public to build your confidence Grin

Another one recommending the “can you bf in it” Facebook page. I really like B Shirts as well (different coloured vest with panels you can lift up). You can find cheaper versions on eBay. To be honest, I bought a bf scarf to cover up but once i’d got the hang of it at home I ditched it!

Made me chuckle that

And also i’ve never had anyone say anything to me about bf in public. Really don’t worry, once you get the hang of it you’ll be popping them on the boob without a thought.
