Have a look , hope it helps

yes it does thanks, I didn't realise how similar they were in some ways so sounds like either might help. Perhaps I will try and osteopath first as I know one where I took my ds for cranial osteopathy. Thanks

Hi, I would definitely recomended osteopathy over a chiropractor also, but like everything else you'll probably get lots of others who feel different! Glad it helped.

I saw an osteopath for my spd it made a huge difference - I was able to walk without crutches again!!!!!

I am a real advocate of osteopathy; it's helped ds so much it's incredible. The very first time I had cranial osteopathy I was warned that I would feel a bit moody/emotional that evening-I had to take myself off to bed to stop my husband divorcing me! So it definitely did something

cranial osteopathy was a miracle wonder for me would 100% recommend it.

To add to the comments - I had osteopathy last thursday for SPD and now have no pain!!
Havent used my support and boogied the night away at george michael on Saturday night with no side effects. Cannot recommend enough.

I should add I had spd. My "lower carriage" actually just sort of "released" -don't know how else to explain it - during my 1st treatment - completely involuntarily. It was absolutley amazing.

Can anyone recommend a good osteo in London?

rabbitrabbit · 11/06/2007 16:40

Here's a good place to search for one (as they should all be registered.)

I don't really know the difference but I have treatment for my SPD (still struggling with it 2 years after birth of dd) from a chiropractor who specialises in pregnancy and birth. Her treatment is the only thing that has helped me sofar and I have tried absoloutely everything.

So, do go and see an osteo or chiro but try to find someone who specialises in this condition.
