TMI Can feel baby's head in vagina?

I put a finger up there to see if I could feel my cervix but I couldn't. However near the top of my vagina, the back wall is rock solid like bone. Is this just my baby's head? Or should I be worried?

It will be cervix that is not softened. The cwevux softens and get a thinner nearer labour but at 33 weeks it will be thick and hard so it will be cervix you are feeling . You will only feel babies head if your dilated and head engaged

Wow, there’s a lot of misunderstanding and misinformation on this thread!

@inmyshoos is absolutely correct - you’re feeling the head through the posterior vaginal wall. No infection risk unless waters have broken. Cervix will be high up and you probably won’t be able to feel your own until it’s more “favourable” for labour - that’s one of the factors that can determine whether you can perform a membrane sweep or not - if the midwife can reach your cervix easily or not.

A not-softened cervix feels firm like the end of your nose, not rock solid like a head! A soft cervix feels like your lip when you relax your mouth.

(Doctor with plenty of experience delivering babies!)

but still probably not as much experience as @inmyshoos*
