So I'm 18 weeks and have a ever growing tummy...

Symptoms have been minor except mood swings and being tired but that could be normal to me!!

No reason to worry (no cramps/bleeding)

Yet I'm so panicked something is wrong?!?

No movements but anterior placenta

Am I alone?!

That’s exactly how I was at 18 weeks. I don’t think you have anything to worry about! I have an anterior placenta and didn’t feel any movements until just over twenty weeks.

I have a regular placenta and felt absolutely nothing until 21 weeks. I have not had any issues or symptoms either. Pregnancy isn’t always the stereotype that you see on TV Smile

I think what you're feeling is normal. You feel giddy after your 12 week scan knowing all is ok and then as the weeks go on, you convince yourself something is wrong again until the next one.
I'm sure all is absolutely fine and not feeling movement at this stage is not uncommon. The ever growing bump in itself is a very good sign that baby is absolutely fine.

20 weeks here with large (according to sonographer) anterior placenta and no movements yet. It's such a scary time, but without reason to worry we need to try and stay calm and relax for baby as well as us 😊

Thanks everyone. Love the reassurance xx

I have an anterior placenta too! Didn't feel any kicks until around 22 weeks now LO doesn't stop wriggling around! (currently 30+4) So try not to worry, even though I do still now, I don't think you'll ever stop worrying until LO is here, I know I probably won't! haha! xx
