Back in April I miscarried at 6 weeks, confirmed by tests at the time & also 6 weeks later with further tests as my periods hadn't returned.
Doctor & nurse said just to be patient but still 12 weeks after MC still nothing.
Today I have been to the hospital for an ultrasound to check everything is ok after the miscarriage & the sonographer has found a 23 week baby girl! Happy & healthy, looking perfect & gorgeous!
I'm in shock! Can't believe she hung in there all this time & I am so far gone!
Has this happened to anyone else?!!
Does anyone have any advice for finding out late in pregnancy re screenings? Not too sure I am happy to have invasive testing?...
thanks!

Brilliant news!

FWIW, I'm 21 weeks pregnant, not showing, don't feel or look pregnant and my morning sickness could have been a bug. Any kicks dismissed as wind so I can well believe it!

That is so wonderful! No personal experience but have heard of several cases of one fraternal twin being miscarried and the other surviving. It happened to my neighbour.

Many congratulations to you, I bet you're chuffed.
