Hello ladies
I have just found out I am 2-3 weeks pregnant (clear blue) which actually means 4-5 weeks
I'm new to this and get married in 11 days! I'm worried about morning sickness etc, at the minute I have very tender boobs, some dull cramps, my hips ache, I'm having mild headaches, gone off food etc but no sickness as of yet!
Can anybody give me some advice on when other symptoms start to happen like morning sickness etc as it's so early I won't be telling anybody and need to be discreet about not drinking etc on my wedding day, I also don't want to be heaving whilst walking down the aisle 😫🤣
Any advice appreciated

Generally morning sickness starts from 6 weeks plus but every pregnancy is different. You may not experience any. Sickness aside, the generic symptoms of the first trimester are tiredness, tender breasts and a few aches and pains. You could be lucky and not suffer very much or unlucky and suffer a lot it's very hard to say! I think the tiredness tends to hit most quite hard though, it does lead to you feeling like you need a mid afternoon nap!

It varied for everyone I’m afraid. I felt nauseous from the day of my missed period which got worse over the next few weeks but I never actually vomited. Tiredness, nausea/vomiting and sore boobs are probably the worst first trimester symptoms.

I would say make sure you get plenty of rest in the days leading up to it and if you're feeling sick then stick with simple foods. You’ll probably be fine. Congratulations!

For a lot of women eating regularly helps with the sickness, so make sure you have snacks available. Not everyone experiences morning sickness though, I mainly had travel sickness during the first trimester and that got worse if I was hungry.

Morning sickness & tiredness tend to build up gradually so if you feel fine now then it's very unlikely to be terrible in a week's time. My MS started around week 6 but for the first week it was more like an extreme hunger, not nausea. It was more annoying than anything else. As the poster above said, make sure you eat enough snacks throughout your wedding day, which is a problem that every bride has, pregnant or not ;)! Since you won't have a bag, get someone to carry a stash of bananas, biscuits, crisps or energy bars so you always know where to get quick bite. If you have a room to go back into, it will help loads to take a quick break during reception or after dinner. Congrats and enjoy the day!!! Especially with such a lovely "secret" on top :)
