Baby dropped lower?

Lastnite I had a panic and ended up going to delivery suite, I’m 33 weeks and baby wasn’t moving much lastnite and I panicked as he usually moves quite regular and wasn’t moving at all lastnite, me and hubby went up hospital and they put me on a monitor, straight away could hear baby’s heartbeat and was relieved, we stayed for half an hour on the monitor and midwife said all was ok. She said he has probably moved in my tummy to a slightly different position so his movement could be less noticeable. I have felt him today but not as strong and have a feeling he has dropped lower as when I walked home from work today it was quite uncomfortable walking as felt like his head was right on my lower pelvis pushing on my bladder. Do u think he will move from this position so it is less uncomfortable or do u think he will stay down there now?

You're at the point where baby will be most active and move around alot. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you; some babies don't get into the right position until 40 weeks, and even if yours were in the right position now, they could just change again before labour starts.

As long as you're still feeling 10 movements within 2 hours, don't worry too much. If you're not feeling that many, call the assessment unit again, to put your mind at rest.

If you'd like to try and get baby into a better position yourself, just google how to do this, there are so many things you can do. I always found that bouncing gently on a birthing ball, or rotating my hips round, and also being on all 4's, ensured baby stayed head down and in a comfortable position for me.
