The past week or so I have been having the most horrendous pain in my stomach at times I was quite worried the first time I got it, however after some massaging of my lower belly it turned out to be wind, it literally keeps happening, even if I've not eaten anything I'd consider to make wind worse in general. I don't know how to make it better but it's starting to get on my nerves cause it can be so painful! 😞 I'm 18 weeks tomorrow, someone tell me it will get better in time 🙏🏻 😩

I’m 37 weeks and have had awful wind on and off all pregnancy I’m afraid. Kept me awake last night. It hasn’t been constant if that’s any comfort! Sorry Sad

I'm 34+3 and have been having terrible wind pain, I've now cut out dairy and the pain has stopped. No previous issues with dairy so not sure what's going on!

Peppermint tea is really good for painful wind. I'm another who doesnt cope well with dairy - a recent development!

Try deflatine. I had to take that when I was pregnant with DS. Wind pain is awful!

Thank you ladies! I will try the suggested things! I really hope it's not a dairy thing, I can't beat a glass of milk before bed and a nice bowl of cornflakes and milk lol x

The lactofree milk tastes exactly like regular milk and you can get it in skimmed, semi skimmed and full fat. My DP couldn’t tell the difference.
Might be worth trying just incase the milk is making you gassy

The hormone progesterone slows and relaxes everything, apparently, including your digestive system. I was told it was a normal part of pregnancy. Small meals eaten more frequently is supposed to be helpful. So is sipping drinks rather than drinking a lot in one go.
