To @Gwynfluff who suggested mango. I can honestly say I think you've just stopped me from crying in public.
I've ordered a pair from there.
It makes no sense not to be able to try them on Confused

Peacocks have a basic range in my small local shop :)

It is a pain. Online with free returns is the best bet. Seraphine stuff is lovely and often have a sale on and free returns. Order a few sizes, send back what doesn’t fit.

bakingdemon · 11/09/2018 13:21

I hear you! H&M annoyingly don't do online exchanges if the size is wrong, so you have to return and re-order. I have bought literally one thing in store (from JJMB) and the rest online, as well as having some kind friends who've lent me a couple of bags of their stuff.

@Italianshark if by ‘loungewear’ tops you mean basic sweatshirts - I recommend arket and monki. Both H&M group. Arket more grown up and expensive than Monki. Latter aimed at teens but good simple sweatshirts.

My local Primark do nightwear, I think these days most people buy clothes a few sizes up tbh not like years ago when it was all maternity dungarees and in my mums day maternity dresses or smocks I think they were called 😆

kissmelittleass · 11/09/2018 13:29

Just remembered I did see a few jeans etc in Debenhams

Elephantgrey · 11/09/2018 13:33

Peacocks have a maternity section where you can try things on. I got a lovely pair of leggings in there.

I had to get my bras from Bravissimo as nowhere else did my size.

I also nearly cried in public trying to buy maternity clothes. I got some lovely things on ASOS in the end but half of them were not suitable for breastfeeding so still haven't got anything to wear.

MrsHarker · 11/09/2018 13:54

I've got some nice items from New Look, the store nearest to me has a small selection to try on, but I've found items bought online fit well.

hammeringinmyhead · 11/09/2018 15:39

In all of Bristol I could only find H&M and New Look. Topshop rarely stock it as evidenced by the fact you can't return maternity to stores. It's too expensive for them to buy enough stock for stores so it's all centralised online.

I'm living in ASOS jeans/dungarees/leggings, Happy Mam online, and New Look tops.

hammeringinmyhead · 11/09/2018 15:42

Ooh, best bra is this. Hands down. A 34 fits me as a 34E/F.

Do you really need maternity clothes? I’m on no 3 and never bought any , just either wore stretchy clothes or those in a slightly larger size. I’m petite though and I can’t see any of the maternity stuff fitting.
