Older pram model but new car seat- compatible?

As the title says really. We are considering buying a second hand pram to save on some money. At the moment we are keen on the Uppababy Vista and it will be either the 2013/2015 model from what we've seen but will a brand new maxi cosy car seat fit onto it? We wouldn't want to buy a second hand car seat for safety reasons but wondered if an older pram chassis would be compatible with a new car seat. Sometimes these manufacturers are buggers for changing models slightly so they aren't compatible in order to make you buy new ones! Also, whilst I'm thinking about...is it recommended that we buy (if even possible) a new insert/mattress type thing for the carry cot if we get a second hand pram.
Thanks all!

Maxi Cosi pebble and cabriofix have the same adapter they've always had so shouldn't be an issue.

We have a 6 year old pram frame and six year old maxi cosy adapters which fit the brand new car seat we have just got so you should be fine (forked out for a new seat but figured the adapters will be fine)

Ps we have got new mattresses for our pram- the Moses basket type from Mothercare fitted ours.

13 year old Bugaboo Frog was compatible with maxi Cosi! It’d done 3 children by the time I used it for my first 5 years ago and second a year ago. Built like oxes and def still took the car seat!!

If it's maxi cosi cabriofix, they haven't changed the design of them in years.
