Looking for some recommendations

Thanks

I just carried on wearing my maternity knickers and bought some cheap granny pants about 2 sizes too big for whilst in hospital so I wouldn't care if they got ruined.

Why should you weAr support undies?

I just wore big granny knickers too

Me three! I just kept rocking the maternity kecks until it had all healed.

The only thing is that most pants come up to exactly where the scar is (above your pubic bone). So make sure you wear pants that go up to your tummy/belly button, otherwise it'll all go wrong.

Are you thinking you'll need compression garments, like you'd wear after an operation (tummy tuck)..? That was never discussed. Just normal big comfy pants.

I just bought full brief knickers that were 2 sizes too big so I could pull them over my scar. They reached over my belly button but we're comfortable.

My mum got me some special c-section knickers after my section (I thought they were a bit of a gimmick) but they were fantastic! I still wear them now 2 years later. Supportive but without being uncomfortable, pull up over the scar and soft on the inside.

I got mine from blooming marvellous at mothercare, would definitely recommend!

Honestly don’t compress it or anything, large cotton granny bloomer full briefs from Asda will be perfect.

Expose the wound to the air when you can, keep it clean and dry. Cotton knicks are the very best thing you can wear - anything else may make the wound sweat.
