Bleeding gums

.... Is anyone else getting these? And if so how badly? Does it stop post pregnancy?!

I am just over 5 months and getting bleeding gums every toothbrush or so. :/

I know they are not uncommon in pregnancy but I'd just like to hear others' stories!! More for reassurance than anything else.

I do have a dentist's appointment but not for another week.

Thanks all.

I also started to get bleeding gums. Never had it before hut went and brought some corsodyl (or however you spell it) mouthwash and had no problems 2 weeks on

I had it really badly during pregnancy. I have always suffered a bit but it was out of control when pregnant. Also used to get nosebleeds which I'd never had before. All that extra blood in your body I think.

Dentist said there was nothing that could be done and it would improve after having the baby which it did.

I have always suffered a bit since I had braces. It got worse when I was pregnant but then better once I had DD. I think it's normal to get bleeding gums whilst pregnant.

Totally normal, was at the dentist yesterday and she mentioned it over and over again!

Ok thank you all!

Yes #choccyhobnob, I'm getting the odd nosebleed, too ...

I think I shall buy some mouthwash. A brand called "Gengigel" has been recommended to me so I may start with that!

Yes I have awful blrrfong gums and some bits are inflamed too! But my dentist assures me that this is normal so don't worry- just keep brushing!
