How do you check what position your baby is laid? I'm 33+6 and i'm not sure how he is laid. X

If you are talking about the difference between cephallic (head down) and breech the only way to tell for sure is a scan, I had two consultants disagreeing whether my son was head or breech down through feeling my stomach.

Check out the spinningbabies website for mapping your bump, and techniques to improve position if necessary.

Like PP has said the only way to be sure is by a scan. But movements should give you a good idea - where are you feeling the strongest movements? That said at 33w the baby may still be moving around. I’m currently 26w with no. 3 and I think he’s head down most of the time as the strongest kicks are under my ribs which I guess are the feet whereas I have smaller flutters by one hip which I guess are hands.

Scan only. Everybody thought my dd was head down until a growth scan at 30something weeks. All movements indicated head down, I did all things possible to flip babe, and for one day I thought maybe I did it, turns out, even when the professionals thoughts she flipped, she still hadn't. Ecv and scans were the only way.
Even after the Ecv all movements felt exactly the same. Strong babies!

So difficult, sometimes I think I can tell, 10 minutes later I have no idea. I'm currently 35+2.
