Does any one else feel like they have been riding a bike all day ?

I am 31 + 3 and it started last night, it's really low down around the pelvic floor region quite painful and the only way I can describe it is it is feels like I have just done a really long mountain bike trek ?

Anyone else had this ?

Hi littleyawner

This is exactly how I've been feeling for the last couple of weeks (I'm 26 + 4), especially after a day at work sat at my desk. This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember feeling this with the first one, although that was 3 years ago and I'm quite forgetful...!

Do you know what might cause it?

do you feel pressure, or is it aching ?

might be SPD, or just simply the baby moving a bit lower...

Hi, mine is just aching, rather than pressure...

Myfairone · 07/06/2007 12:44

When I've been sitting at my desk for too long (32+4) I get up and walk like John Wayne for the first few minutes. I think my joints just have to adjust to my new position!

Hope you feel okay.

Hi,

Thanks ladies !

It's hard to tell whether its aching or pressure but I could not bend down to put my pjs on last night. I am walking differently too.

Baby has been ceph for the last 4 weeks. I am seeing MW on Tuesday so if nothing changes I will wait until then to speak to someone.

This is one MW that won't be being nominated for any awards, don't think I have seen haer smile once.

hope all is well

SPD is symphisis pubis dysfunction, quite common and painful ....the ligaments of the pelvis get too relaxed and loose, which causes pain and can cause difficulty walking , or going upstairs, that sort of thing...

i had that feeling during my second pregnancy too.
My bum 'went to sleep' much easier than it normally would and by the end of the day it felt like it was concentrated in the 'saddle' region.
