Coming off the depo provera

I was on the depo injection for around 4 years, I came off last year as I'm with my partner and know it takes around a year to come out of your system and we are thinking of having children
Whilst being on it and now more so now I'm off it I've had an increase in corse body hair (chest, below belly button, upper lip and some around my nipples)
My periods returned around 6 months ago but aren't regular and a few days before I come on I have really bad cramps none stop for 24-48 hours accompanied by headaches and I'm really struggling to cope with them, before I had the depo I had normal regular periods and very rarely suffered with period pain, I also didn't have trouble with body hair so I don't know whether it's just my hormones all over the place
Any advice I would be really grateful

I could of written this post!! I was on it for 5 years, came off it and then had 1 more last year.

It took 6 months for me to get irregular periods. I got pregnant then had an early miscarriage but finally pregnant again. I conceived exactly 1 year (to the week) after my final injection. I’ve also got increased body hair everywhere but I did notice it increased when I initially went on depo. I hoped it would improve after, but doesn’t look like it is.

Good luck xx

Thank you for your response, I'm not too bothered about it, I think I was more concerned that its pcos, but as I've never been irregular before I just put it down to my hormones being all over the place xx
