Anyone bought this? Is it as good as it looks?

I really want to purchase one for the lounge just in case baby fancies taking daytime naps!!

These cake out just after I had DD- they look like an expensive, over engineered Moses basket.

Looking at the uses, the fact it’s suitable for overnight sleeping is handy, but you aren’t going to be dragging it up and downstairs are you? The recliner functions looks good, but doesn’t have the portability of a cheaper, standard bouncer chair.

Then the high chair and toddler chair function- having seen the mess that comes with weaning and a small child feeding themselves, I wouldn’t be sitting them in a £200 fabric seat to rub spaghetti hoops into.

I just want it for the lounge but I like the fact it's on wheels so I can wheel it through the downstairs.
Not bothered about using it as a toddlers chair so that doesn't worry me.
I think it's lovely and hate the look of typical Moses basket.
Think I've talked myself into it :)

I looked at this as I liked the idea of an all in one product. It’s up to you... the early baby stages look great but I can’t think of anything worse than an upholstered fabric highchair so didn’t go for it which was definitely the right decision. I can almost guarantee you that you won’t use the 2 out of of 4 stages that involve eating as cleaning that once will be enough to send you sprinting towards Ikea for a cheap plastic highchair. So personally I’d get a Moses basket/baby bouncer/use the carrycot of the pram for daytimes naps and buy a basic easy to clean highchair further down the line when you need it.

What pram have you got?

Ours came with a carrycot that was safe for overnight sleeping, so we just used that for naps downstairs. Saved an expense and it’s another bit of baby equipment we don’t need to worry about storing away until dc2 arrives.

My pram carrycot is suitable for sleeping but I want the separate napping facility as it looks much nicer than having a pram in the living room.

First much longed for baby, I want to buy everything :)

Just be careful, you might get a limpit baby that only naps on you, or like mine they might outgrow the carrycot before they’re even 3 months! So considering that’s one of the most impractical high chairs I’ve ever seen I’d be very wary of spending a ton of money on a Moses basket type thing that might not see much use and how something looks in the living room will seriously be the least of your concerns when you have a newborn... but of course it’s up to you! Congratulations Grin

Well obviously it’s up to you but it just seems to be a lot of money for such a short period of time- dd stopped napping in her carrycot when she was about nine weeks as she preferred sitting reclined in her basic Argos bouncer.

Another op pointed out that it’s unlikely you’ll use two out of the four advertised functions- this just seems to be something marketed to first time parents who understandably overestimate how much a baby needs.
