Have my glucose tolerance test next week, OH is off on the day i have it, is it best to have someone with me or will it just be a waste? First pregnancy so unsure. Thanks

you're not even allowed water

You can have water. In my Trust they even put on the letter to make sure you drink plenty to stay hydrated.

@firsttimemum090 if you don't stay hydrated then they can have difficulty collecting blood from your veins.

Also in my case they did my 28 week blood tests at the same time, and I know from tests I had long before I was pregnant that not drinking sufficient water before the test mucked up the one of the results.

Only someone you hate Wink. It’s a really, really tedious wait so I wouldn’t inflict that on anyone else. Take your phone and a book.
