Hi everyone!
Just wondering what everyone did in regards to baby clothes for their 2nd child. We have just found out we are having a girl! I've kept hold of all of the baby clothes from our 1st child who is a boy and at the time didn't really think of going unisex in terms of outfits, most are grey and blue. I also got most of it from Baby Gap in the multipacks so I could mix and match and not really think too hard into putting an outfit together, I could just pick up a vest and some leggings and know it would look ok!
I was thinking of doing the same again with more feminine colours and mixing them in with blues and greys I already have just to get some more use out of them.

Those who have different gender children, did you start from scratch with clothes when you found out or did you use what you already had?

I used what I already had, which was mostly sleepsuits for the first 6 mo.

I'd pick out any bits you think would be ok and then just add any extra bits you need.

I’ve got two girls and am now pregnant with a boy. Bar the most pink/floral stuff I will be reusing sleepsuits/vests etc.

Hi there, I have a girl and a boy 16 months apart.

When dd was born people did and still do buy her very girly pink clothes. I didn't keep any of these but I kept all the plain sleep suits and vests and they share things like Jeans, socks and tracksuit bottoms etc and Paw Patrol pajamas I buy knowing they'll both like them.

I get why some people are into the gender neutral thing. I do feel that brands do this specifically can be really dull. On some occasions my two do conform to gender stereotypes but I do buy some things they can both wear.

So mine was the other way round. Ds wears dd's jeans but with different tops.

I'm expecting a girl, I've kept ds stuff and planning on using it. Have bought a couple of dresses as well and bought a new pack of baby grows so that she can her own girly first babygrow kept.

I wouldn't bother buying much new stuff. You might want some 'girly' things for photos etc but ultimately the baby doesn't care what she's wearing. Decide whether the money you would spend on new girly clothes is money you'd rather spend on something else later down the line.
