Anyone else have or had this?
I was told I do at 12 weeks.

I had this with DS2. It wasn't a problem, I did notice his movements were much more cushioned than with DS1 though - I mostly only felt him kick down! I guess if you need a section it could make things trickier but I didn't have one so can't comment on that.

I had one, felt movements a bit later (around 22 weeks) I think it’s quite common. Kicks count charity have good advice

Had one last time and this time. Just meant felt movements later than most ppl seemed to

I have a high anterior placenta (first baby), the only difference was I didn't start feeling movements until just over 20 weeks. I am now just over 24 weeks and I can feel lots of movements all the time so don’t think it makes any difference now.

I had this and I don’t think it made any difference at all. Felt movement just as early as anyone else. No complications. Enjoy and congratulations xxxx

Eminybob · 16/08/2018 08:43

I had this, but actually have felt movement from really early on (about 14 weeks) and really quite strong sometimes now (I’m 26 weeks) it’s always at the side or low down though.
I can really tell when he had changed position as it goes from strong kicks to muted.

I’ve not been told there are any likely risks or complications with an anterior placenta.

I have one. I felt kicks a bit later, around 23 weeks but at almost 28 weeks I can definitely feel plenty of kicks and a pattern is starting to form.

Thanks for the reassurance ladies!
