Guys! I'm in a panic! My kinda local massive mothercare is having a closing down sale today!!!

What should I do? I haven't even chosen a pushchair or cot or anything. I'm in a massive panic buy situation!

Please advise! I'm 21 weeks.

I've heard a lot about George at Asda so sought out an Asda yesterday and the outfit I bought was still £9 do I didn't think that was particularly cheap as I got cheaper things at the JoJos and John Lewis sales

You can get a cheap v shaped pillow on amazon that will do the same job for about a fiver. I’d take the breastfeeding pillow back.

I have a breastfeeding pillow. I only use it at night as our bed I’d really high, so it gives me peace of mind if I fall asleep baby won’t fall off the bed.

It’s also good for propping them up, my eldest used it in the empty baby bath to sit up in when we were upstairs.

Just dropping in to say the h&m kids and babies stuff wears well and is good quality :)

JurassicAdventure · 11/08/2018 17:51

I love the little bird stuff too (even though I don't like Jools Oliver -oi! Jamie give me back my turkey twizzelers)
Boots are pretty good for bright baby clothes I just bought this today: www.boots.com/mini-club-striped-all-in-one-10250530

I love Next baby stuff , some things are expensive and then sometimes I'm surprised at how cheap something is. Also love H&M for baby/kids clothes too, usually really cheap too! I don't rate Asda baby stuff, it's usually all covered in Disney crap (hate characters on clothing ). Their maternity stuff is decent though! Last pregnancy I got a pair of maternity jeans for about £14 (not even in the sale) and lived in those and their maternity leggings too

Don't regret the breastfeeding pillow! It could be in use long beyond breastfeeding. I used to put it on the playmat to offer extra support when the babies were learning to sit up. My nearly teenage daughter still has it in her room and uses it to sit up and read in bed. (It has been recovered a few times)

H&M wrap bodysuits & leggings with feet get my vote.
And if you can find them car ponchos can really help in cold weather

Just remembered there is still a breastfeeding pillow in a bedroom armchair at my DH's grandmother's house. Presumably she must have fed her now nearly 70 year old daughter in it. It's recovered and provides extra support in the chair.

peachesarenom · 12/08/2018 11:34

In that case I'm keeping my pillow! I like the look of those ponchos too!

Buy a snuzpod second hand! Then buy a new mattress for it. You'll find most things cheaper online anyway. Don't waste your money panic buying.
