gift for DP after birth

Would like to buy DP a gift from me and the baby for putting up with all my moaning and generally being brilliant!

DP is getting me an eternity ring (which will be a joint birth and 40th present I think - with beautiful diamonds from my grandmother's rings) so would like to get him something nice, but not a watch as we are getting married next year so likely will get him a watch for that.

Any ideas?!

OP is a water birth an option? I have heard so many positive water birth stories recently. I wish I’d had one.

Buy him a present by all means, just because.... but not for putting up with you.

Water births really are amazing! I had my dd2 in the water 3 months ago, literally felt everything, but no pain at all. No pain relief either (only cause there wasn’t time!)

Oh OP it's not all bad, promise. My vagina looks better than it did before. Someone stitched me up well. But it does fucking hurt.
Once you see that beautiful baby in your arms it's such a high you will forget it all - even having down there stitched up after 😉
I want a snuggly newborn again.

I got a photo album/book off somewhere like Etsy or not on the high street (can't remember exactly).It is personalised on the front. I stuck lots of photos of me and DH of our best memories and made little notes about each one finishing with the baby scan photo but with lots of space left in the book. We now regularly add to it mainly of photos of DD and footprints etc. It was more of a family gift I love looking through it.

I'm entitled to my opinion. She's asking for ideas for a gift, not people questioning her for her choice to do it!!

I was just thankful it happened in bed, at night, breastfeeding DD and not in the middle of the day, around company, on the sofa!

DH cleaned it up for me and remade the bed. I should have got him a present!
