I have been given my induction date for my first baby and my husband and I decided to keep it quiet only telling both sets of parents - my father in law has just announced it in a family WhatsApp group with over 25 members - didn't actually say it was induction date just the new due date! AIBU to be pissed off - I'm 37wks tired and frustrated so know that it's possible

Ask him to delete the message?

That’s frustrating!! I’m very reticent in what I share at all, lessons learned and all that.

Unfortunately you need to not share info about your pregnancy with your in-laws and tell your DH to do the same.

Explain to your DH, if he's difficult, that while it is his child until it's safely born he has no parental rights so you can stop him being your birth partner.

@BlueBug45 what you on about? There's nothing to suggest OPOP'susband deserves threats like that!

OP its annoying but maybe just misjudged on FIL's part. My last pregnancy was shared by my FIL before 12 weeks and then I had a miscarriage :(
