Hi all
Does anyone have any experience of measuring bigger than you actually are? I’m petrified of having a big baby! Thanks x

Yep. Both pregnancies. Had gdd tests and extra scans and several midwives telling me they didn't think they would be less than 9lbs. Turns out I carry a lot of water - first was 7lbs 15ozs and second was 8lbs 3oz. Not tiny, but not the predicted giants

Probably not what you want to hear but I always measured big and my smallest was 9 lbs 6, biggest 10 lbs 3 Grin. Big babies really aren’t the end of the world, they’re squidgy and cute and my vagina seems perfectly unharmed Grin.

I measured 3 weeks in front also. They guessed my baby would be around 9lbs 8oz when he was born and he was 6lbs 13oz.. they don't always get it right! Try not to panic

The day before DD was born I was measuring 2 weeks over, I had a scan to check the position and they said she would be over 9lb, however she was 8lb 4.

Also having this!! At 32 weeks he was measuring 35 weeks. Now I'm 36 weeks and he's measuring 39 and half weeks! But apparently is growing as he should be just be a big baby? We will see. I've heard lots of stories about scans not being accurate/belly measurements.

I measured 5weeks infrastructure not for DS1... he had increased fluid and was 10lb 5oz, DS2 was measuring 4cm ahead (the week of induction at 39+ weeks measured 8cm ahead) he had polyhydramnios and was 10lb
