New to here. This is my first post. So i was referred to EPAU with pains and bleeding. I thought I had had a miscarriage. I thought i was 6w4d at the time, had a scan which showed empty sac. Was told i would have my bloods monitored and a repeat scan. A few days later i went in to a+e in pain in my side of abdominal and was concerned it was ectopic as at the first scan they diagnosed it as Pregnancy of Unknown Location and that they couldnt rule out ectopic. They scanned again, still no change but couldn’t see any free fluid and were satisfied i was ok to go home. Hcg levels over each 48hr period is as follows: 1804~2122~2849. Another test tomorrow and scan monday. I know the last date we bd’d and i know when i had my positive Ov test so feel my dates cant be far out and put me at between 6-7weeks so am worrying that no yolk sac has still been seen. Any experiences? I am still bleeding a week on like a period but my cervix is closed and they cant see any reason for the bleed although i do have a cervical ectropium. Sorry for essay! All comments/experiences welcome.

Hello ladies hope you don't mind me joining you. I'm having a potential MC after a diagnosis of PUL yesterday. I should be 6 weeks but started spitting brown blood yesterday. EPU agreed to see me and did hCG levels. I have another round of bloods tomorrow but I've lost all hope now as I'm having horrendous period like pains and heavy bleeding now. I think I'm spontaneously MC. It's so tough feeling like this. I'm already a mum to one so this was my second pregnancy. I also had bleeding at 6 weeks with DS but all was fine at my follow up scan when they could see a heartbeat.
So gutting to have a loss.
Have any of you had any more news? I've been quietly reading posts but only just brave enough to share my experience. ThanksThanksThanks

Hi Kisses4u. Im so sorry to hear your news. I was told by many that spotting and bleeding could be normal in pregnancy and midwives seemed quite disconcerted that i was bleeding as it is so common, but i just 'knew' something wasnt right. It was my first pregnancy so i had nothing to compare it to but was in pain daily and knew this could not be normal. Never thought i would have a miscarriage as noone in my family ever has, so has been devastating. Just think the hardest think with being diagnosed with PUL is the chance of it being ectopic. Did they scan you?

Hi, I’m 39, I had a silent miscarriage in April 2018 at approx 7 weeks. I had to go to hospital to get medication to bring the process on which was awful.
I’ve since found out I’m pregnant again, the first day of my last period was 26th June. I’m terrified as I don’t feel any symptoms other than being very tired. No sore breasts, no sickness. Just terrified I’m going to start bleeding or get to my first scan and find out it’s hsppened again sad trying not to worry but just wish I felt pregnant... I’ve done 3 tests so definitely am. Any advice or similar experiences?

Hi islaimogen. I really wouldn't worry about this- my friend went through her whole pregnancy with no symptom other than a growing bump! Aslong as no bleeding or cramping i'm sure it'll be fine.

Yes I was trans vaginal scanned and the nurse couldn't see anything. So said PUL and sent me for bloods. Gotta do more tomorrow. 😐

Blueberry2018 · 10/08/2018 22:16

Fingers crossed kisses4u. With mine they found a sac but kept telling me my dates were wrong. I knew they werent. It seems now that it was a 'pseudosac' x

A beautiful miracle x

That was meant for @potentialmadcatlady
I hope the others of you on here get better news soon.

Potentialmadcatlady · 11/08/2018 16:06

Thankyou Leighanndancer...
I’m very sorry to those of you that have had sad news.. thinking of you all

kisses4u · 11/08/2018 20:01

It's an MC for me. My hCG dropped by 60% in 24 hours which is good news in terms of it's not ectopic, but obviously not good news either as it's an MC. But I'm feeling ok, pain has subsided to a dull period background pain now. I'm expected to just have a few more days of bleeding and have been advised to take a test in 2-3 weeks to double check all pregnancy hormones have gone before trying again.

So sorry to hear this kisses4u xxx
