My 1st ds was classed as small as he was 6lb at 41 weeks. I'm now 24 weeks with second ds and am booked in for growth scans every 3 weeks from 28 weeks, did anyone have a small baby then go on to have a slightly bigger one? Or anyone else gone through this?

DS1 was 5lb 9 at 39+4, DS2 was 8lb 6 at 39+5!

DS1 was about 6 weeks old before he reached DS2’s birthweight. He is now nearly 9, just under 50th centipede for height and very lean.

My daughter was born at 38+6, induction due to IUGR and ogliohydraminous. She weighed 5lb 8oz.
My son was born at 40+6, natural labour and he weighed 8lb 6oz
